About the event

We are very excited to announce our first IN PERSON event back since the beginning of the pandemic. Our event will be taking place on Thursday, July 21 from 6pm - 9pm at wombo.ai headquarters (119 Spadina Ave, floor 12).

Our event topic will be Artificial Intelligence and its future applications. The speakers for the event will be Ben-Zion Benkhin of wombo.ai and Opher Brayer of impro.ai.

Ben is the co-founder of Wombo.ai an AI-powered lip sync app that creates deepfake copies of images lip-syncing to a selection of songs.. The company has released two apps Wombo and Dream. Wombo has already been downloaded over 70 million times and users have created over 1 billion videos using the app. Dream is used to create AI powered digital artworks and has been downloaded 20 million times and has over 300 million artworks created. Prior to Wombo at school, Ben was the president of the University of Toronto Undergraduate Artificial Intelligence Group.

Opher is the co-founder and chief scientist at Impro.ai. Opher is a C-Level executive coach, systems thinker, former jazz musician, and education innovator – with hundreds of methodologies to his name. Early in his career, Opher was a trainee of thought leaders Michael Hewitt-Gleeson and Jay Abraham. He trained in Systems Dynamics at MIT and in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Richard Bandler. Over the past 30 years, he has coached thousands on their way to realizing their potential both personally and professionally. Opher’s groundbreaking work in developing thinking algorithms that help youth and adults alike to elevate their thinking and performance led to him receiving the Tribeca Disruptive Innovator Award in 2018.
